The team, which includes over eighty students working in various positions, writes, directs, shoots, edits, promotes, and acts in a wide variety of sketches throughout the year. In addition to making content for the Internet and an annual feature-length campus premiere, NSTV sponsors and performs in live shows, facilitates guest speakers, workshops, and field-trips, and produces an annual video for Dance Marathon, Northwestern’s largest philanthropic organization.

NSTV remembers Sam Cassel - 1979-2007
Sam Cassel acted, wrote, and edited for NSTV from 1997-2001, finally taking the reigns of the show as Director in 2000-2001. Upon graduation, Sam worked his way up to Vice President for Scott Rudin Productions. In December of 2007, however, he was tragically killed by a drunk driver. Sam played a crucial role in the development and success of NSTV, and we will always hold him very dear in our hearts.
